On April 18,2023,China–Netherlands Deep-Sea Offshore Wind Power Seminar& signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Yongfu and Maridea (the Netherlands) were held in Fuzhou, China. More than 200 guests from the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou, various levels of governments in Fujian Province and the partners from home and abroad in wind power sector attended the seminar and signing ceremony.

Lin Yiwen, Chairman and General Manager of Yongfu, delivered a welcome speech. Opening Speeches were also given by Paul Groote Woortmann,Managing Director of Maridea, FrankVan Beuningen,Consul General of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Guangzhou, Wang Zhong, Deputy Head, Development & Reform Committee, Fujian Province, and Fan Xueshuang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Fuzhou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

Nearly 200 distinguished guests from China and the Netherlands who are specializing in offshore wind power industry gathered together to reflect on deep-sea offshore wind power and share cutting-edge technological innovation. Liu Wei,Deputy Chief Engineer from Yongfu and 8 representatives from prestigious companies from the Netherlands delivered keynote presentations on suction pile jacket foundation technology, floating wind power technology, the opportunities and policies on deep-sea offshore wind power market,exploring the future of high-quality development in offshore wind power.

Yongfu has been working with SPT B.V. from the Netherlands in research and development of internationally advanced suction pile jacket technology that was successfully applied in Changle offshore wind power project in China and has shortened the construction period by 50% and reduced construction cost by about RMB 1 billion, which is conducive to efficiency, tariff parity, safe and environmentally friendly development of offshore wind power.

The signing of the cooperation agreement between Yongfu and Maridea blows the horn of collaboration by the two sides on research and application of deep-sea offshore wind power technology. Yongfu will work with partners to provide globally leading solutions for development of deep-sea offshore wind power project.
